Miss Loveridge and Ms Smith are Laurel Lane's Middle Leadership and they support the personal development of the school. Each half term, they will provide an update on all of their hard work.
Autumn 1 2025
This half term, we have been very busy setting up the new school council, prefects and house captains.
We have met and agreed the rules and expectations for their roles and they were very excited to get started.

Crazy Hair Day:
The children had a wonderful day celebrating their uniqueness with crazy hair styles! It was wonderful to see so many creative designs and colours. The children were so confident! Well done all! Thank you to those who donated to our trips and visits fund.
Harvest Food bank collection:
Thank you all for your kind donations to celebrate harvest time. The food that was collected was taken to support a local foodbank. Thank you to Mrs Young for delivering it for us.
Black History Month:
Throughout October, the children learnt about key historical black men and women that changed the course of history through their bravery and actions. Each year group studied a different individual and they combined their work for a display – photos to follow. Please talk to your children about what they had found out.

Tesco Funding – Stronger Starts:
Our collection for the blue tokens has begun in our local stores. Please look out and add as many tokens as you can to raise money for a foodbank for our school. Please encourage friends and family to do the same.
